Güngör YalavaçGüngör Yalavaç graduated from Kahramanmaraş Industrial Vocational High School Electrical Department in 1985.
He started his career in Fethiye Club Hotel Leetonia Holiday Village as an Electrical Technician in 1990. He continued to work as a Kitchen Maintenance Technician at Istanbul Mövenpick Hotel, as a AV team leader and Kitchen Maintenance Technician at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, and as an Electrical Supervisor at the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet till 2004.
Güngör Yalavaç, who joined the management team as Assistant Technical Manager at Radisson SAS Airport & Conference Hotel in 2004, was awarded the "Best Breakthrough Department" award in the same year by paying attention to teamwork. He became Technical Manager in 2005 and continued to work in the company until the end of 2007, and the Preventive Maintenance program that he has prepared was put into operation in 2006.
Güngör Yalavaç, who worked as Chief Engineer at Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel between 2007 and 2013, saved a total of 500 thousand kWh of electricity in 2008 and 2009 without incurring investment costs. In addition, with the Sea Water project he developed, continued on saving approximately 170 thousand kWh. Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel received the "Green Key Certificate" with his Preventive Maintenance and Prevented Maintenance programs and LED lamp replacement.
Güngör Yalavaç, who started to live in Bodrum, Muğla in 2014, joined the pre-opening teams of Mandarin Oriental Residences, Lux Bodrum Resort and Residences, The Bodrum Edition Hotel, and conducted operations as Chief Engineer. After his retirement, he worked for a short time as Chief Engineer at the Swiss Hotel Bodrum Beach Hotel.
Güngör Yalavaç attended seminars as a speaker on savings related issues within the scope of the Green Key Certificate, also attended management and leadership trainings at the corporate companies he worked for.
Güngör Yalavaç, who continues to live in Bodrum, Muğla, is married and has a child.
